  • Toast and Cheers: When Lady Meets ‘Her Tramp’

When Bobby and I were planning our wedding two years ago, we were adamant that it would be a small and intimate wedding of not more than 150 guests. However, as the wedding date drew closer, we realised that 150 was not a realistic number. Well, we know we shouldn’t change horses in the middle of the river but do we really want to leave out a good friend that has unwaveringly supported us in the past year or that auntie who used to babysit me when I was little? Before long, we found ourselves calling our wedding planner to expand our guest list further. And since we’d be having a few more esteemed guests, this meant we needed another table with its own Disney theme. We covered most of the iconic Disney Princesses for the other tables. For this new table, we thought we could bring in another Disney story that is close to our hearts – Walt Disney’s canine classic, Lady and the Tramp. Even though it was a last minute request, we were immensely grateful to our wedding planner, Beth, who managed to pull it off and actually made the table the crème de la crème of all our Disney inspired tables. In retrospect, even though it was extremely stressful to create a new theme and source for new decor two weeks before the wedding, we thought this was one of the best decisions we’d made for our wedding. Now scroll down to immerse in the Disney magic once more! [df_divider el_width=”100″ style=”solid” accent_color=”#EEEEEE” border_t_width=”2px” padding=”20px 0″ position=”align_center” el_class=””] Pre-Wedding Photos The photoshoot was undertaken by my dear friend, my colleague, Yong Thye (of Sim Video ), without whom so much of what we planned simply would not have been possible. I sincerely believe there is no other video company out there that would have accommodated all my zany requests in the way Sim Video has. Whether it was out in Paris taking photos in the wind and rain, or filming a Disney style epic, Sim Video has time and time again surpassed all my wildest expectations. They’ve captured and immortalized moments that I will always treasure, beautiful memories of the best day of my life, moments that I can share with my family, friends and even my children next time. And now, let’s scroll down and see how YT tackled our puppy fairytale. 🙂 Fun Fact! After 30 minutes of coaxing our bunny, Bebe, with baby voices and cookies to stand up for this photo, we were tired and at the brink of giving up when all of a sudden, Bebe stood up for one second! I was extremely glad YT was already on standby and was able to capture that magical moment. Even though my hair was in a mess, I was happy we got the priceless shot above. 😛 One of the most memorable moments in the movie is the serenaded spaghetti dinner where Lady and Tramp fell in love at the alley behind Tony’s Restaurant. So we decided to take some alleyway shots at Universal Studios Singapore (USS) to commemorate this iconic scene. *wink* This next collection of photos was taken by Ada and Aki of A Square Visual Studio . They feature a new form of photography known as ‘Indie Pop’ (aka 小清新) which is a blend of dreamy and quaint photography styles. This form of photography was incarnated by the the ‘Indie Pop’ culture of the the UK music industry in the 1980s. It was popular for chronicling the little things in one’s life through refreshing, gentle and positive music themes. Later, this interesting sub-culture expanded its influence to the movie and photography industry. A few photography houses in the region have jumped on the bandwagon and adopted this new style of photography and one of them is A Square Visual Studio. And here’s their take on our Lady and the Tramp story. Back To The Alley Our Spaghetti Dinner… Checkered table cloth and wine bottle decor to recreate the famous alleyway scene. 😛 Jim Dear: “You know, darling. With Lady here I’d say life is quite complete” OUR FAIRYTALE SQUAD Photography by Lightbox Productions Wedding stylist: Beth of 1-Host Desserts by Divine Favors Tell you a secret – I could feel tears welling up in my eyes as I go through these photos by Kwang of Lightbox Productions. It was as if I was still at the wedding! He captured so many significant moments and expressions, images of that beautiful day started to flood my mind. I’m so glad I can always relive those amazing and magical memories again through his photos. I must say, each and everyone of the wedding vendors listed above really went out of their way to ensure our wedding was as magical as it could possibly be. Thank you once again for making my dreams come true. • Winter Is Coming: My Frozen-Themed Wedding

Welcome to another instalment of my #Bobbliana Secret Garden Fairytale Wedding – Winter Is Coming. No surprise which Disney Princess this edition was inspired by. 😛 Do you know that our favorite Ice Queen almost didn’t make it to the list as Bobby and I had already started allocating our quintessential Disney heroines to the different wedding tables in late 2013? At least that was what we thought, until we realized we would really miss out a ‘queen-tessential’ Disney fairytale when Frozen was released later that year. There was no way we could slot in another table of 10 so we thought the best way was to integrate the Frozen details into the decor and wedding cake. You bet when our wedding planner, Beth, promised that she could do a winter-themed edible (mind you!) Disney castle wedding cake with LED lights installed, we almost fainted with excitement. It was a triumphant moment for our Disney-loving hearts. Now, I just need more icy blue colors, snowflakes and crystals to amplify the Elsa effect. Well, what better way to do it than to add it to the actual wedding dress! Woo hoo! Now the wedding is really oozing with winter vibe. Read on to find out more about our Frozen-inspired wedding! The Look Elsa’s signature long braids and alluring purple eyes are the key makeup inspirations for my evening look.In particular, her hair crown that is styled in an effortless and easy breezy manner which is simply to die for. To make sure my makeup artist, Joanne  understood what I wanted, I showed her some real-life examples: They are super Elsa-inspired and wearable on my big day. I was glad the talented Joanne immediately understood what I wanted and we met up at my place for a makeup trial to try the look! Barefaced! As for the makeup, I wanted a more natural look inspired by Korean celebrities so Joanne went light handed on the application and created this ‘barely there’ look for me. I loved it as like Kate Middleton – I want my groom to be able to recognise me on our wedding day. 😛 Next up! The Elsa hairdo.*exciting* I loved the look but I thought the braids could be a tad looser and more relaxed. Well, it’s called a makeup trial for a reason. I was glad I was able to build my rapport with Joanne and test-run a few looks before we decide on the final makeup and hairstyles. Joanne took my preferences into account and modified my Elsa look. I can tell you the final look was simply awe-inspiring. Well, you’ll have to read on to see the what she created for me. All I can say is – she’s a genius! You want her at your wedding! 😛 Meanwhile, I also introduced her to another favorite Disney princess of mine for the morning ceremony. Tadah! Belle’s luscious locks are gorgeous but to recreate the same look in real life might look too dramatic. See what I mean? So I showed Joanne the following hairstyles for a more realistic Belle hairdo. And this was what she did for me. 🙂 I love it! My happy smile here says it all. My Prince Charming and I at our Secret Garden Fairytale Wedding. 😛 Finding an experienced and trust-worthy bridal glam squad can be one of the toughest parts of wedding planning. I’m super thankful I found Joanne who ensured that all our worry lines were banished to the enchanted forest with her top-notched makeup skills and her incredible ability to understand what I want. Thank you Joanne. I’ve actually engaged Joanne again for my aunt’s upcoming wedding this December. Woo hoo! Can’t wait to try more new looks with Joanne! In the mean time, check out her other bridal looks here – https://www.facebook.com/ProfessionalMakeUpArtisticByJoanneLiaw Back to the Ice Queen… The Dress The beautiful dresses and brightly lid mini runway at Loov Production caught our attention when we were shopping for dresses at Delfi Orchard. I knew the moment I laid eyes on Keanu Chang’s opulent bridal boutique that I would be getting my wedding gown from here. His grand yet elegant designs simply make you feel like a real princess! Trying on Keanu’s gowns, it hit me for the first time that I was really getting married. I figured I should see other boutiques and try other gowns, but despite everything we tried, neither my hubby nor I could forget the very first gown I tried on at Loov Production. Now the choice was obvious. We returned to Loov Production and Keanu welcomed us with warm open arms. The very first gown I tried became the piece-de-resistance for my actual wedding day. Before I knew it, my main bridal gown, my tea ceremony gown and my final march-in gown were all from Loov Production. 😛 Time to pick the ultimate Elsa-inspired dress… Here’s my choice! Elsa’s glistening cape and sheer mesh sleeves looked perfect in the movie but I reckoned it would probably look too much on my small frame in real life. So when I saw this beautiful dress that fitted my minimalist criteria, I literally went coconuts! The glistening snow effect from the sequined bodice and organza flare exuded the right amount of elegance that even Elsa would be proud of. After several alterations, the dress finally fit me like a glove! Your “Icy Enchantress” is ready to roll! Haha! It would be a shame if I do not mention Keanu and his absolutely incredible service. He customized my gowns repeatedly and allowed me to bring my dream wedding to life. Each visit to the boutique made me feel like a little girl again, a little girl dreaming of her perfect magical wedding. It was so enjoyable that even my hubby would accompany me to each and every visit and gown fitting session. My dreams were coming true. Thank you Keanu. 🙂 For more Loov Production extravaganza, visit Keanu’s Fb page at https://www.facebook.com/LoovProduction.keanuchang . The Wedding Spot Elsa! 😛 On the day of the wedding, Joanne gave me the loose soft braids I wanted. That’s not all! She also adorned it with some beautiful crystal butterflies to marry both the Frozen and Secret Garden Fairytale themes. Ethereal! I couldn’t ask for a more amazing hairdo than this. To amp up the ‘Frozen factor’, we also bought this gorgeous crystal bouquet from Crystal Wedding that looked absolutely breathtaking in real life. The crystal bouquet certainly gave my Elsa look that extra oomph. 😛 Cheers to a beautiful winter ahead! Well, it was November. Haha! The bride has gone bonkers. 😛 Elsa’s shimmery purple eyes were the talk of town when the movie was released so Joanne added some purple and pink frost to my eyes to pay tribute to Elsa’s beautiful Snow Queen look. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any ‘decent’ close up photos of my makeup except for these not-so-flattering photos taken during the speeches where I was laughing like mad or crying my eyes out. Haha! Here’s the back view of my braids and oh! That’s my little rascal right there! <3 Thank you all once again for making our dreams come true. xoxo, Bobby and Juliana For more exclusive content on my Disney themed wedding or to receive the full gamut of privileges as Honeyz readers, like my Facebook Page at fb.com/ilovebunny.net or follow me on my Instagram ( @ilovebunnynet )! • The Rite Of Passage For Every Bride – The Hens’ Night

I remember at this time last year, I was practically facing the ‘stress monster’ everyday. From designing personalised wedding and thank you cards, populating the perfect guest list, shopping for unique Disney decorative items to writing emcee scripts. Only one word could describe the process – chaotic. The thought of possible wedding mishaps simply drove me bonkers. Thankfully, the anxiety was short-lived as I’ve the most incredible bridesmaids who decided I should take a break from wedding planning by giving me the ultimate Hen’s Night Party.Since this was also a bridal shower to celebrate my impending nuptials, I thought it would be poetically beautiful to hold the celebrations in the hotel where my husband proposed. So I rented a room and ma girls planned the rest. I was never a wild child so my ideal Bachelorette Night was spending a quiet evening sipping champagne with my closest buddies in our private boudoir. My bridesmaids certainly got the memo so there wasn’t a dare list or stripper in sight. Phew! However, they also made sure there was no dull moment by injecting lotsa fun and a teeny weeny bit of raunch into my last celebration of “freedom”. 😛 The Stagette was certainly one of the best nights of my life. It was full of surprises that were a perfect blend of naughty and nice. With such amazing friends, what more can you ask for? Well, maybe a blog post about my bunny-themed party with photos, peppered with some Hens Night tips? Haha! Here we go! Goodbye my love! Enjoy your Stag Weekend in Hong Kong! After bidding my then-fiancé goodbye at the airport, I hurried home to prepare for my own epic Hens Party with the girls! Yay! I’m all set for my very own bachelorette staycay! – Bridal sash and tiara? Checked! (Thanks Tiffany for getting these for me!) – The royal scepter? Checked checked! – Gifts for my super bridesmaids? Whee! Triple checked! And off I go!  I hope I survive the weekend. Haha! Juliana’s Bachelorette Night Tip No. 1 Don’t schedule the Hens Night too early, meaning three to four months before the wedding. Trust me, it can feel far less meaningful or exciting than is hoped.  Don’t schedule it a week, or worst, a day before the wedding either as you don’t wanna be hung over on your big day. Also, holding it too close to the actual day might interfere with wedding preparations, budgeting or even pre-wedding dieting plans. An ideal time frame would be four to five weeks before the wedding. And so I held mine a month before my big day. 🙂 On the day of my Hens Night, my bridesmaids told me they’d something on so none of them could make it early and suggested that I come later too. Even though I was slightly disappointed,  I didn’t think too much about it. When I finally arrived in the late afternoon, I was utterly surprised to be greeted by these ‘Hens Bunnies’ and a hotel room that was exquisitely decorated with cool Princess-themed props. Haha! I totally didn’t expect this at all so you can imagine my excitement. 😀 As usual, incautious me missed all the tell-tale signs that my bunnies were up to something. After booking the room, all I asked them to do was to prepare some champagne for the party. Apparently, the girls had more ideas in mind to make me feel extra special. They requested the hotel to allow them to check in early so they could decorate the room with fun props and also dress up as my fave – cute bunnies! Aww… No party can commence without an official opening ceremony. Forget the ceremonial scissors, ribbons and commemorative shovels. Just a good ol’ ‘Pop the champagne’ routine was all that was required to get the party going. It was scary but (phew!) I managed to do it. Haha! Next – pop the ceremonial balloon! Erm.. and blow the ceremonial whistle. As you can tell, this one is rather cheeky so I’m blurring it out to keep this blog family-friendly. 😛 To make sure I got the full regal treatment, my super bunnies also prepared my own Queen Bunny Hens Night regalia. And it includes this ahem, Fifty Shades of Grey thong. *chuckles* All geared up and ready to party! My very own ‘Bachelorette Dessert Table’ gorgeously set up by my Hens Bunnies! Great champagne, yummilicious cake pops, Panna Cotta in cute bottles and of course, fab bridesmaids are every Hens Party’s must-haves! Whee! Bunny power! Just when I thought we were done with “Dodgeville”, I was made to wear this one-of-a-kind apron. Again, to keep this absolutely family friendly, I’ve mosaic-ed the risque apron. 😛 No Hens Party is complete without an exciting night-out with your girls, so we’re off to my favorite Hard Rock Cafe at Resorts World for dinner and drinks. 30 minutes into our dinner, I was invited to go on stage by the host, suggested by the girls of course. Even though there wasn’t a dare list of hilarious deeds, the girls still made sure I left my comfort zone to do a little dance stint on stage. Haha! It was embarrassing at first but it began to feel more enjoyable when I began to loosen up and just have fun. After a rather eventful evening, we went back to our room for the next segment – our Hens Slumber Party! We kick-started our girly bash by giving ourselves a makeover (and er… putting on cutesy ribbons). We also got to try these SK-II samples, c/o of Ashlyn. 🙂 Our most favorite activity of the night – wefie time! We also spent the evening practising a secret dance performance for my husband-to-be but that’s another story for another time. *wink* I felt very special and cherished because of my girlfriends’ personal and thoughtful touches to my Hens Party so here’s my second tip for bridesmaids who are planning a Hens Night for your bride-to-be. Juliana’s Bachelorette Night Tip No. 2 Make it personal (literally)!  Incorporate the bride’s favorite things, themes or anything that reflects her personality into the party. Trust me, she’ll feel utterly special and touched by your thoughtfulness. To make it even more meaningful for her, you can also create a keepsake photo album or book of messages which she can keep as a memento of the party. Since Tiffany couldn’t make it to the Hens Party, I handed her the bridemaids gift when she came over to visit. To thank everyone for giving me such an awesome Hens Night, I organised another Bridal Shower at my favorite nail salon, Nail Indulgence De Beau two days before the wedding for a pampering manicure treat before all the chaos began. It also happened to be Alice’s birthday that day so it was twice the celebration and twice the fun. Woo hoo!  We even managed to surprise the surprisee with some secret birthday cupcakes. Yay! Even though my Hens Party had none of the insanity from movies like Bridesmaids, Hangover or Bride Wars, I couldn’t be happier with the surprise elements and their gallant effort to make sure it wasn’t just another night out. I’ll treasure these memories forever.I want to give a HUGE and special shout out to my amazing bridesmaids, Ashlyn, Jo, Jeslyn, Tiffany and Alice for investing an enormous amount of your precious time to plan the Hens Night, gatecrash and practice the surprise dance for B. Thank you for being so supportive all the way and making sure that everything is in keeping with my Disney theme. You are the best bridesmaids, friends and sisters! Love you all! • I ‘Still’ Do!

Can you believe it? It’s been exactly 365 days since our  ‘Fairytale-Gone-Wrong’ gatecrash mayhem , dramatic Disney-inspired wedding entrance  and of course, that special moment when we said ‘I do” It’s been a very magical year and I couldn’t be happier. He’s been the most supportive, loving and giving husband. I know I’ll gladly say ‘I do’ again. Here’s my promise to my Prince again: “You’re the love of my life, Bobby. And even though you think my jokes are not that funny, my car rims are ugly, and drawings are kinda cheesy. I still can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. Because you are also the only person who thinks my breath smells great in the mornings and that I would look good in anything, even with an 80s hairdo. Most importantly, you’ve been the best lover, companion and friend. Let’s grow old and buy our first set of dentures together! So I am truly blessed to be a part of your life, which as of today becomes our life. I love you, Bobby.” I can’t wait to continue this amazing journey with you and celebrate another one thousand anniversaries! Gorgeous photo montage by Kwang of LightBox Weddings . What a perfect way to recall the memorable moments at our wedding. Look ma, I finally found forever! 😀 xoxo Juliana #LightboxProductions #OurPaperAnniversary #Wedding #WeddingVowsRenewal

  • I Found My Fairy Godmother in Sinderella

“Cinderella is proof that a new pair of shoes can change your life.” This couldn’t be more true as my Swarovski encrusted wedding shoes from Sinderella definitely changed mine for the better. They were the perfect centrepiece for our Disney themed wedding. Their splendour had seemingly also captured the attention of major news outlets such as Refinery29, MetroUK and The Knot when our wedding photos were showcased on their sites earlier this year. And as you probably already know from my recent posts, I’ve had many amazing opportunities (that I could only dream of) bestowed upon me because of these media features. It started out with collaborating with Disney and Urban Decay on my new Alice In Wonderland shoot , then most recently, attending the Alice In Wonderland movie premiere . I can’t feel more grateful and blessed. 🙂 A year after the wedding, I’m still receiving compliments for my beautiful Swarovski encrusted shoes, courtesy of the shoe elves at Sinderella. Told ya that shoes can change lives. Haha! So my footwear-of-choice for my recent Alice In Wonderland photoshoot was certainly a no brainer. Yeap! Wore my Sinderella shoes again! 😛 I forgot how comfortable my Sinderella wedding shoes were and wearing them again not only triggered some wonderful memories of my wedding, but also reminded me how happy I was when I first found my very own ‘Glass Slipper’. Let’s be honest here. One of the most common fashion struggles we face is gorgeous footwear that is murderously uncomfortable for our tootsies. Heels are undoubtably one of the biggest offenders of them all. And on a day as big as your wedding day, ‘intolerable shoes’ is the last thing you want to add to your already long ‘things that might go wrong’ checklist. Help arrived in the form of Sinderella, a Singapore-based shoe boutique that offers customizable bridal shoes that are truly fit for a princess! Every bride needs her very own ‘Glass Slipper’. Follow me as I scour their Delfi Orchard store for my perfect fairytale-themed wedding shoes. Their wide selection of embellishments kinda thew me into a tizzy. From the height of the heel, width of the shoes, fabric color to the accessories, I was amazed at how far I could go with the customization. Oh, did I mention that our heels can wear rings too? The possibilities are endless here. As you can imagine, I was over the moon and swooning with joy when Sinderella chose to collaborate with me to craft the wedding shoes of my dreams. If that wasn’t enough, Sinderella were so taken aback by my love story, by the concept for my wedding, by my dream, that they literally pulled out all the stops and stars, forewent the usual budgetary limitations for collaborations with bloggers, and set to task to fashion the most magnificent pair of wedding shoes they’d ever created. And this was what they came up with. Even Fairy Godmother would be proud! 😀 This is unquestionably the most beautiful pair of shoes I’ve ever seen. Sinderella really went all out with my wedding shoes. The satin white peep toe shoes were fully hand strassed in beautiful Swarovski crystals which made them sparkle from every angle. These photos don’t even do them justice, I tell you. Another point I have to emphasize is – these shoes are also customized perfectly to my feet size. I wanted heels as high as 4 inches and as we all know, that is also the height associated with ‘discomfort’. Haha! So to ensure my feet still felt like they were walking on puffy clouds, the team at Sinderella measured every inch of my feet and altered the shoes according to the width and length of my feet. They also added a one inch platform inside the shoes for added comfort. Since our feet also differ in size throughout the day, Sinderella also provided these thick gel heel pastes to prevent rubbing and subsequent blistering during the wedding. Yay! No more ill-fitting shoes and I can now walk happily ever after. 😛 As long as I don’t keep losing them on staircases.. Behind every happy bride is a fabulous pair of shoes. The moment I saw Sinderella’s dream-like creations, I knew that there could be no other wedding shoe for me. Thank you Sinderella! If you’re looking for gorgeous awe-inspiring shoes that are customizable and truly fit for a princess, look no further than Sinderella.com.sg ! They have a huge selection of bridal stilettos, evening shoes and even men’s shoes!  Psst! They also carry fairytale-themed wedding favours! Sinderella is located at 402 Orchard Road, Delfi Orchard #03-04, Singapore 238876 . Do note that they operate on an appointment-only basis. You may make your appointments through email at  sales@sinderella.com.sg or their Facebook page at  facebook.com/sinderellashoes Have fun and all the best to you on your quest for your very own Glass Slipper! • Once Upon A Dreaming With Brides, The Label

You’ll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream. The gorgeous royal couple, Harry and Meghan, kickstarted summer on a beautiful note with their astoundingly beautiful wedding in May. The gowns, the flowers and the makeup set many hearts aflutter including mine. There’s just a certain je ne sais quoi about the bridal look and yeap – I would definitely love to experience the joy of donning a wedding gown again. Aww… Well, my dream came true when Brides, The Label approached me for a collaboration shoot. I jumped at the chance! Thank you thank you thank you! Since my Prince Charming is working hard in the office in the daytime, Mike, our talented photographer suggested we chase the daylight and explore the splendor of shadows with just the bride – me. Haha! Also, most of my actual wedding shots were more sweet and romantic so we decided to steer the wedding vibe to a different direction – a darker theme like Once Upon A Time, Storybrooke style . No flowers, no Prince Charming and barely any smiles. Mike gave excellent creative directions during the shoot and we made use of everything we could find at the venue. All this wouldn’t have worked without Jennifer of Brides the Label who coordinated the shoot and selected the gowns and accessories. Of course, we also can’t forget our makeup artist, Karis who expertly hid my gaping pores and uneven skin tone by literally airbrushing my skin with foundation, creating a smooth and flawless finish. She also softened my strong jawline with a romantic bun hairdo. It was a huge privilege to work with this talented and hardworking trio. The final product was like something out of a wedding magazine. Keep scrolling to see the fruits of their labour! Gown and Stylist: Brides, The Label Photography: Mike Chen Photography Makeup and Hair: Karis Chiu Makeup Venue: Marina Bay Cruise Centre I can’t wait to show you the rest of the photos from this series. Look out for the second instalment of our Once Upon A Dreaming With Brides, The Label! Psst! This time, my husband, Bobby makes a cameo. Haha! Meanwhile, have fun and keep sparkling! • Catwalk Debut – Noel Caleb Jonah Fashion Show 2013

This weekend, I’ll be walking Noel Caleb’s fashion runway that will be held at The Sail at Marina Bay! 😀 Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a fashion show? Well, before I ‘strut my stuff’ on the runway, I thought I could show you the preparation that goes into a runway show as well as a sneak preview of the Noel Caleb Jonah Collection. Click for your Jonah treat! The ladies of the runway show. Since most of us are catwalk newbies, Noel Caleb invited veteran model Jessica Ee to help us polish our walk. The session commenced with a mini catwalk show where we had to show Jessica our walks. Pretty Sulastri  strutting her stuff. I’ve never done this before so it was a sink or swim situation for me. I look pretty lost here. Haha! Jessica was very funny throughout the rehearsal and often made remarks like ‘I’m gonna scrutinize and criticize your walks like I’m Noami Campbell because being nice does not pay off!’ Jessica’s antics and the cheery banter with the girls certainly made the catwalk rehearsals a much relaxed and happier experience. My main takeaway from the session was to walk and pose with confidence. According to Jessica, I have the tendency to abruptly break my walk and pose. So she advised that I should always know when I’m going to stop and prepare to pose. Also twisting my torso slightly and throwing my shoulders forward during the pose will accentuate the narrowness of my waist and make me look more confident. Now who says modeling is easy??? I wore a pair of turquoise heels that day which Jessica strongly disapproved of. She advised that we wear only nude or black 5-inch stiletto heels during the show because they go very well with outfits of any color. Thanks Noel Caleb and Jessica for giving me a good reason to go shopping. 😛 Immediately after the session, I broke the bank and bought a few shoes and of course, also this pair of gorgeous suede nude heels from Aldo for the fashion show. After all that striding on our imaginary runway, we had our first dress fitting with the pretty clothes of the Jonah Collection. Then it’s camwhore time! This is Sulastri and she is a famous vlogger on Youtube. Check out her coverage of the Noel Caleb events and rehearsals at  www.youtube.com/luinfaniel Did I mention that Jessica is also one of the models of the Noel Caleb Jonah Fashion Show? Here she is at her dress fitting photoshoot. Look at all those poses! Fiery hot! Our final look. This is Irina who’s also a blogger. Check out that lovely smile! Visit her blog at  nordo4ka.blogspot.sg for anecdotes of her life in Singapore (she’s from Russia originally), travel encounters and of course modeling experience at Noel Caleb. Wanna see some moving pictures of the rehearsal? Watch this video shot and edited by Sulastri. 🙂 Can’t wait to watch the fashion show now eh? Well, the Noel Caleb Jonah Fashion Show 2013 will be held at The Sail 44th floor overlooking the Marina Bay. The event will start promptly at 12pm. If you would like to attend the fashion show, please email Noel Caleb at love@noelcaleb.com. For more information, visit the Noel Caleb blog at  noelcalebblog.wordpress.com  or their facebook page at www.facebook.com/ilovenoelcaleb Thanks Noel Caleb and Jessica for the interesting and valuable catwalk lessons! Await my next Noel Caleb event coverage for more exciting scoop on backstage antics, showtime nerves and of course photos of sizzling models striding the runway! • ZNIQUE Acne Serum Review

Oooh – I spy a nice little pre-Christmas Christmas present under the tree this year. 😛 I tell you, Santa never gets it wrong! This little gem is the stocking filler my skin has been screaming out for! Keep reading to see how you too can get your hands on some free goodies from Santa this year! Working 9 to 5 seems to be a thing of the very distant past to me these days. With RESCU, I find myself shuttling across from one corner of Singapore to the other, be it pouring down with rain or the middle of the night, when the batphone rings, we drop everything and go! It’s tough but I love it! The freedom of the open road, not being cooped up in an office somewhere and calling my own shots is really exhilarating, scary at times, but exhilarating nonetheless. What I could do without, however, is the pimple fiesta that seems to occasionally try and take over my body. Occupational hazard of being out in our famous heat and humidity I guess. The result is that I’m enjoying pimples in places I didn’t know I could get pimples! Getting acne not just on my face but also on my back and chest comes as a first for me. With a mini pharmacy in our office, I could easily order in some acne treatments but I’ve really never been a fan. They leave my skin dry, sore, sometimes red and often really sensitive to sunlight, which is a complete deal breaker given that the road is my office most of the time now. So when Santa delivered the new Acne Serum from ZNIQUE , I was jubilant to say the least. I couldn’t wait to put their natural formulation to the test. The serum contains a blend of chamomile, sage, lavender and their own patented AQPRUFINE. Chamomile is known for its anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties while also calming and soothing inflamed skin. Sage has anti-oxidant and pore reducing properties, lavender has anti-microbial properties while also helping to regulate sebum and scarring. AQPRUFINE, ZNIQUE’s own unique combination of natural ingredients, offers further anti-oxidant and anti-microbial skin protection. I was pleasantly surprised not only by the serums ability to calm my pimples, reducing redness and inflammation, but also by how moisturizing the treatment was. Before and After My skin was left refreshingly moisturized by the gel and appeared more radiant once the pimples were cleared away. I also liked how the serum didn’t leave behind any greasy residue after application. All in all, a nice little package to help treat all those nasty little pimple packages without the usual side effects we know and loathe most acne treatments for. And the best of all, the products are not tested on our precious animals. Kudos to ZNIQUE! So if you’re like me and looking for a less harsh but still effective acne treatment, ZNIQUE’s Acne Serum is definitely worth a gander! Try it yourself! Don’t take my word for it. Try it yourself by redeeming a ZNIQUE sample kit from their website at  www.zniquesg.com . Let me know how it works for you too! Your friend, Juliana #SponsoredPost #ZNIQUE
