Fashion Review: Lilies of e Field (LOEF) Tulip Bandage (Black) and Bellora II

Put style on a pedestal.

Afterthoughts…

As mentioned two posts ago, this season calls for the minimalist approach in fashion and probably with an additional dose of sultry appeal too.

And this skirt fits the bill perfectly. The first thing that came to my mind when I saw this bandage skirt was ‘OMG it’s a Herve Leger’. I was instantly drawn to it and I thought its tulip feature makes it even more appealing.

The quality is great too. Material is thick and workmanship is good. Surface is slightly rough though.

The skirt fits beautifully. However, I thought it was a little short for my liking. But it doesn’t ride up, so this problem didn’t bother me for long.

Great piece for party nights in the clubs but a tad short for the workplace.

All in all, I give this 4.5 Honeyz crowns for its favourable price and quality. (FYI, it costs SGD26)

Afterthoughts

This fall, I’m subscribing to a more ladylike style and I thought this dress exhibits the right amount of femininity with its nude pink hue and flowy style.

I absolutely love the duo-color sew-on sash. One side is black and the other is nude pink.

LOEF’s model wore the dress in the above fashion with the sash tied in a large bow in front. Very cute.

In our photoshoot, I decided to experiment another look by tying the bow at the back to demonstrate its versatility. This style hides the bulgy tummy pretty well!

Workmanship and material is good. It is extremely comfortable to wear.

But! The dress wrinkles rather easily. So thumbs down to that.

This is THE alluring dress for that perfect date and also THE conservative dress that is appropriate for the workplace. Overall, an absolutely stunning piece and I’m giving it 4 Honeyz crowns. Not a fan of its wrinkle-prone fabric.

Alright, fashion-forward femes, we’ve come to the end of this post.

Disclaimer: I know I’m going to sound like a broken record but I would like to emphasize again that Honeyz fashion reviews are NOT advertorial posts. I do not endorse any of those brands featured. Rather, I’m trying to show you how normal girls (girls with non-supermodel statures) look like in clothing from these famous boutiques. This is to aid you in making informed purchase decisions when it comes to updating your fashion wardrobe. 🙂
