Afterthoughts…
Another worthy contribution to the blogshop hall of fame. The dress has a rich dose of summer glamour coupled with some boho edge.
I like its layered tail hem, round neckline and figure flattering appeal.
It is versatile enough to be worn to work (layer it with a silk scarf), gallivanting around the beach (wear with sandals and a straw hat) and to a formal dinner (pair it with strappy heels and a diamante dinner clutch).
Material and workmanship is decent. Material is towards the thin side so seamless undergarments is recommended to avoid visible panty lines (vpl).
The size runs slightly big. I think it may also be able to fit a UK 10 which makes the dress very comfortable to wear.
All in all, I love the design especially the tail hem. It brought so much class to the dress! I think the tail hem culture might be a bandwagon all designers want to jump into this season.
