Happy Christmas month!
I don’t even know where to start. It was meant to be a month of hot cocoas, endless turkey spreads and Christmas movies but my father-in-law fell sick and things took a critical turn earlier this month and now my husband, Bobby is back in the UK to spend more time with my in-laws. He decided I shouldn’t come with him due to the current COVID situation. 😢
Initially it felt like Christmas had been cancelled but thanks to all the love and support we’ve received, it’s just became a lot more apparent that it’s not what’s under the tree that matters but who’s around it! I’m so grateful that I still have so many loving and caring friends around me to help keep my spirits up during this time! Thank you all!
I’m gonna try my best to make the most out of this month. I hope you do too!

The Body Shop Holiday Collection
With my hubby having to fly out of town last minute, sitting here alone, I truly felt Christmas has been cancelled for us both this year.
Then I started to look around and saw the three Christmas trees we put up together (yes you heard it right, three!), the Christmas village we had set up below our TV, the garland we hung around our door, all the snowmen dotted around our home and even our beloved festive teddies that always come out this time of the year!
We didn’t miss Christmas after all! Christmas isn’t just a day, it’s a feeling. It’s all the mess we made while decorating. It’s all the planning and feel-good moments leading up to the big day and of those, I’m so fortunate to have had so many!
Not to mention all the beautiful and heart-warming messages I have been receiving from all of you!
Christmas is those unfiltered moments where your heart is so full of joy and happiness it could burst and while we celebrate it on one specific day, the true celebration starts the day you get that warm fuzzy feeling inside!

Luxx Liner + Luna Lashes
I'm making spirits high and bright with a new falsie recommendation.
Luxx Lash, a beauty brand that focuses on premium, cruelty-free, and sustainable at-home beauty solutions, sent me their best sellers, the Luxx Liner and their Luna Lashes for review.
What makes this duo extra special is that no glue is needed to create this look. The Luxx Liner is formulated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive that, with soft to medium pressure, allows the liner lashes to bond with the liner.
As a falsie novice who has non-existent skills in applying false lashes, I found it surprisingly easy to wear these long, fluttery lashes. All I had to do was draw on my lash line as I would with my regular eyeliner, then stick the lashes on the eyeliner and I'm done! I wore them all day and was impressed by how lightweight and comfortable they felt. Also, no more goopy mess of glue.
According to Luxx Lash, the falsies can last 50 uses or more. 😱
I do need to warn you that it does take a little more makeup remover and effort to remove the eyeliner. All in all, I still think they are pretty decent products which actually made me consider introducing them to my makeup routine for the holiday gatherings. That's a pretty mean feat! 4 out of 5 stars!
