Here’s what I thought about the product…
I was 14 when I first discovered the magic of beauty products and guess what? The first beauty product I ever laid my hands on was my grandma’s Olay whitening cream! So there was definitely an air of nostalgia when I unboxed my Olay Regenerist cream. Haha!
The consistency of the cream is thick and smooth. Here’s a photo of the texture.
The fragrance and slightly greasy texture made me worry about its effects on my sensitive skin. So each time, I’ll apply only a small dollop of the cream on my face and neck to prevent breakouts or any adverse skin reactions.
But I gotta say, the fragrance is rather alluring and refreshing. It made my skin smell like flowers! ✿
The cream broke me out in the first couple of days but the pimples subsided once the skin got used to the richness of the product. Even though I do not have crow’s feet and wrinkles on my face at the moment, I do have unflattering neck lines. So I’m hoping with prolonged use, it will mitigate the wrinkly neck problem.
To be honest, if you’re looking for a miracle cream like the pink bees honey anti-aging cream that Adam invented in the movie Upside Down, you’ll be pretty disappointed. Even though it’s named micro sculpting cream, I don’t think it actually sculpts or lifts the contours of the face. To achieve such drastic results, you probably have to consult a plastic surgeon instead.
All in all, I think the cream functions adequately as an emollient and hydrator. I’ll certainly lug this along on winter vacations. 3.5 Honeyz crowns!
