Toast and Cheers: Our Wedding Logo

Since I was at a pretty impressionable age during the Disney Renaissance era, you can bet your bottom dollar that I’m a fairytale fanatic.

But Mommy made a rather amusing blunder of taking me to see Disney movies as well as buying me storybooks by the Brothers Grimm, Charles Perrault and Hans Christian Andersen. Yup, imagine the horror for a 5-year old me.

Not that this is a bad thing because, eventually, I grew to like the original folk tales more. But as a kid, it was not only confusing but slightly distressing.

So I decided that the fairytale theme of my wedding should lean towards the Disney versions – with happily-ever-after endings.

I’ve certainly struck gold because my fiancé is also a huge fan of fairytales and totally supports the idea of a Disney-esque wedding.

Yay! So what’s next? We thought we could create a wedding emblem to represent our mutual passion, our imagination and of course our future.

We’ve also come up with a name for our wedding, its called Finally Found. No surprise what it was that we’d finally found. 😛

Now click to see how all these elements add up on our new wedding logo! Tadah!

Here’s one without a background for the invitation cards and photo booth backdrop. 🙂

It’s uh-mazing, isn’t it?

But it wasn’t always so pretty. Here’s a sweet attempt by my fiancé.

Well, A for effort but I told him not to give up his day job. 😛

In case you’re wondering, our final logo was created by our good friend and also wedding videographer/photographer, Yong Thye of http://www.simvideo.com.my. He’s also the Creative Director of Honeyz Cube and Honeyz Paint House.

He’s such a talent!

So we thought we had to invite Yong Thye to Paris with us for a Disney-themed photo and video shoot.

And we almost cried when he said yes. Haha!

We managed to produce some truly breathtaking captures, courtesy of Yong Thye of course. But before I publish them here, I thought I could first show you some of our wedding prep work. 😛
