Seventeen Magazine Feature

Guess who’s featured in this month’s Seventeen Magazine? 😛

This August, Candy Princess Katy Perry graces the cover of Seventeen Magazine Singapore!

Besides Miss Perry’s exclusive interview on her latest movie ‘Part of Me’ and her grueling one-year world tour, she also talked about her heart-wrenching split with actor-comedian Russell Brand (while she was on tour) and her role model status – here’s an advice from this pop princess: “If you do want to live out your dreams, you can, but you definitely have to work hard.”

Whoa… Definitely a scoop!

Moving on!

What other hot topics in this issue of Singapore’s most popular teen magazine?

Dress like French or Korean • Design Singapore Tee • Hottest Beauty Brands from Asia

Design Singapore Tee

This month, Seventeen plays up nationalism by engaging our local designers for a 6-page feature to discuss the inspirations behind their Singapore-inspired T-Shirt designs as a special National Day tribute!

The patriotic designs include Laksa tee with splatter prints, a collage of people queueing, parody of Singapore’s $1000 bill and many more!

Hottest Beauty Brands from Asia

Get ready for the rise of the Asian beauty empire!

These days, Asian beauty brands are all out to set hearts aflutter with their groundbreaking products that promise to treat and enhance! Honeyz has also reviewed many of these Asian beauty wonders such as the Rachel K CC CreamHada Labo UV MilkKila Doll Masks, just to name a few.

In this Seventeen beauty feature, the beauty team suss out the worth of popular cult brands from each country, from skincare, makeup to hair products that are highly raved by beauty bloggers Blovet Beauty and Ju-Ann and celebrity make up artists like Andy Lee.

Dress like French or Korean

And, and and!

Learn to dress like a French girl, British fashionista or ahem Korean hottie!

I’m not sure if it’s legal to call myself the hottie but yup, your humble blogger is that “Korean hottie” chosen for this shoot! Haha!

Here are some photo bloopers of the shoot!

Ever wonder what the (unprofessional) model does while getting her make up done?

Take photos of other prettier models!

This is “French” beautie, Cassandra.

“English” rose Azuera.

What about the people behind the scenes of the photoshoot?

Thanks Benita for inviting me and you ladies for a lovely morning of cheery chatter and banter.
