I’m sorry for the lack of updates recently as I’ve been feeling rather under the weather so my brain hasn’t been functioning properly. Haha!
There’s definitely a vicious flu bug going around as everyone who’s come through my studio door has been battling nasty flus too. Load up on the fluids and Vitamin Ds you guys!
I feel a lot better today so I wasted no time in crafting this little ‘Get Halloween Ready With Me’ post to take you on a wicked Halloween ride.
Now put on your Halloween paint and buckle up! We have a party to go to!

Hanging out in Honeyz Haunted Paint House! To make sure the Halloween spirit is always flowing in the studio, I created this little Halloween dessert table with props and treats for all to have fun with.
Don’t worry, there are no tricks here – only good ol’ treats for my awesome peeps! Mwahaha!
“I make nail contact before eye contact!”
What better way to ‘creep it real’ than with a boo-tiful set of manicured nails!
Amanda of Nail Indulgence De Beau sculpted that 3D spider from scratch! To amp up the supernatural factor, I chose a gorgeous iridescent gold pink sheen for the base color with an overlaid cobweb design.

“A little lipstick never hurts”
Palladio Velvet Matte Metallic Cream Lip Colour in LV13 Lavish (SGD7.10)
I was super excited to receive this charming vial of lip colour from the Palladio folks a couple of months ago. The sultry red hue is spellbinding in real life!
You’ll be happy to know that the lipstick also performs double duty as skin care for your lips. Its creamy formula is enhanced with green tea and Vitamin E to give you the most luscious and chap-free pout for your fang-tastic parties! I love that my lips remained soft and smooth for hours. I can totally see myself wearing this throughout the holiday season.
However, the doe-foot applicator wand feels wider than other brands I tried so it tends to pick up a little too much product for my liking. This means it also made it more challenging for a makeup klutz like me to trace and perfect the lip line of my dreams. I would highly recommend you to use a lipliner to contour and create the outline of your desired look before you apply the lipstick.
Once you get that out of the way, the lipstick is almost foolproof. It glides on easily and even with multiple layers, it does not feel too heavy. The intense colour brings out the dark and mysterious side of you, making it the perfect disguise this Halloween.

Finally, please allow me to present my wearable day and night looks for the most spooktacular holiday of the year!
Halloween doesn’t have to be all ghoulish and dark. The theme of my day time look is colourful stylish edibles. Think ice-cream shoes and lemon clutches!
I went a little gothic for my night look with dark lips and swapped my pink bomber jacket for a black version.
Now all I need is a parking lot for my broom!

Yeap. I actually burnt a hole in one of my colour gels. Lesson learnt – always google how to use studio equipment first. Haha!
