Hada Labo has just released their Arbutin Whitening Range that not only feeds your skin with moisture, but also brightens your skin to reveal your natural fairness.
Trust me, even Snow White would be proud of the results. :p
Hada labo has just launched the Arbutin Whitening Range that comprises the Whitening Lotion, Arbutin Whitening Essence, Arbutin Whitening Milk and Arbutin Whitening Mask.
Evidently, the key ingredient of this range is Arbutin which is a compound from bearberries. The effective whitening properties of Arbutin has made it an excellent solution for reducing spots and improving the skin tone naturally. Hada Labo seeks to renew dull skin and reveal clearer and fairer skin with this new ingredient.
The products also contain Vitamin C to repair dry and dull skin that is caused by prolonged exposure to harmful UV rays.
To stay true to its PERFECT X SIMPLE brand philosophy, Hada Labo uses only the finest and purest ingredients with no unnecessary additives, colorant, alcohol, fragrances and mineral oils.
Elf from The Sample Store has kindly gifted me a bottle of Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion to try and this is what I thought of the product…
The thought of Hada Labo’s Super Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C and Arbutin rolled into one excites me so I was extremely eager to try the lotion when I received it weeks ago.
The texture of the lotion felt exactly like that of the Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion despite the difference in color – the Hydrating lotion is clear while the Arbutin Whitening lotion is more milky.
Here’s a comparison of both liquids.
Whitening toners tend to leave an uncomfortable tingly sensation on my sensitive skin so I’m always wary of products that claim to whiten and that are high in alcohol content. Since the Arbutin Whitening lotion is free from alcohol and fragrances, my skin naturally reacted better to it and showed no signs of redness or acne after several days of use.
Honestly, I’m not sure if the Arbutin and Vitamin C were successful in whitening my skin but I do believe they helped me maintain my current skin tone. I’ve been outdoors in the sun quite a bit but I don’t think I’ve grown darker since I started using the Arbutin Whitening lotion a few weeks ago.
I’m also a huge fan of the flip top cap. Haha! I’m quite a klutz so a flip top cap that limits the amount of liquid dispensed is a huge plus for me. When you’re almost done with the lotion, you can also twist the roll-on cap off to access the rest of the lotion. This feature helps to prevent wastage. Brilliant!
The Arbutin Whitening Lotion is priced at SGD21.90 (the same price as the SHA Hydrating Lotion) which I think is pretty reasonable.
You know what? I think the Arbutin Whitening Lotion could possibly give the SHA Hydrating Lotion a run for its money for it provides more skin benefits i.e. whitening and hydrating properties at the same price.
So 4.5 Honeyz crowns!
To achieve brighter, dewy and hydrated skin, try the Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Range!
The price of the products ranges from SGD21.90 to SGD31.90 and they are available at Watsons, Guardian, Sasa, Fairprice, Unity and other departmental stores nationwide.
Psst! You could also redeem a FREE 20ml travel size bottle of Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion at Hada Labo’s Facebook Page.
