It’s 27 December today, just four days before we say goodbye to 2025 and I’ve been sitting with a lot of thoughts about this year.
2025 started strong. Almost revenge-strong, in a good way.
We went on three trips within the first five months, after not travelling for a very long time.
If you’ve been following my journey, you might know that last year, we went through an extremely rough patch. We almost lost everything we had built. What pulled us through was sheer will, belief, and a whole lot of hard work.
So this year, we thought the worst was over. We thought it was time to simply build.
But it turned out to be… a different kind of rough.
Last year felt like war. Pure survival mode, sink or swim, no time to think, only move.
This year, things largely stabilised… and yet, a new set of challenges appeared. And that surprised me.
Suddenly, even the smallest thing could topple team morale or shake the business.
I remember learning history in school and never quite understanding why problems still existed after wars ended. I always thought the biggest struggles would be over once peace arrived.
I studied mostly British history, and for a long time, I couldn’t understand why Winston Churchill, a leader so vital during wartime was voted out once peace returned.
Now I get it.
When there’s peace, there’s space.
And with space comes reflection.
And with reflection, uncertainty can grow louder.
That pretty much sums up my entrepreneurial journey this year.
I haven’t given up. I’m still planting seeds, quietly and patiently, hoping that next year will be kinder, stronger, and more aligned.
So this holiday season, I decided to wind down and do something joyful.
I wrote to Santa, wishing for peace, happiness, and clarity.
And I finally did something I’ve always wanted to do.

The final three months of this year have been a whirlwind, from Halloween, to launching my new blog, straight through to Christmas content and I just want to say thank you.
